Dr. Vincent Taylor is the visionary founder of our church. He is the author of the books, ‘When a Nobody Becomes Somebody’,‘Preaching the Seven Last Sayings of Jesus Christ on the Cross’, and 'Single But Whole'.
He attended Eastern Kentucky University, Capital Bible, Maple Springs Bible and Southern Evangelical Seminaries and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Computer Information Systems, Master of Art in Biblical Studies, Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees.
Dr. Taylor has participated in church ministry in each of the communities he has called home. Dr. Taylor served as the director and spiritual advisor to the singles ministry, developed an evangelism and urban ministry program, taught church leadership classes, and developed new members training materials for Metropolitan Baptist Church, Washington, DC. Dr. Taylor is the former dean of records for the General Baptist State Convention of Florida and the former assistant dean of Christian Education for the Bay Central Association of Florida.
Dr. Taylor has traveled the nation as a preacher and conference speaker. For 31 years, Dr. Taylor, has worked as an Information System professional. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
Dr. Taylor believes that the pastor's primary goal is to preach/teach the Word of God and to shepherd the people of God. He is committed to what he calls the three A (s) of ministry.
